Nominate an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of urban entomology. The recipient gives the Arnold Mallis Memorial Award Lecture during the conference and receives a plaque and monetary award. Nomination are due February 16, 2024. The NCUE/IPA Awards Committee requests the nomination of individuals from academia, government, or industry who have made outstanding and significant contributions to the field of urban entomology. The recipient of the 2024 Distinguished Achievement Award will present the Arnold Mallis Memorial Award Lecture during the conference. In addition, the NCUE Planning Committee has established a monetary award for the recipient. A check and commemorative plaque will be presented to the recipient at the time of the Mallis Lecture.
Nominations for the Distinguished Achievement Award should be made in the form of a 2-3 page letter summarizing the nominee’s qualifications, accomplishments, and contributions to urban entomology. Additional supporting documents (letters of support, curriculum vitae, etc.) are encouraged with total documentation not to exceed 8 pages. Selection will be based on the total contributions of the nominee. Nomination packets must be submitted to mekeck@ag.tamu.edu by the end of the day on February 16, 2024 to be considered.
